UK calls for Russian access to SWIFT international payments system to be blocked
The UK has asked European Union (EU) officials to consider preventing Russia from using the Brussels-based Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) payments system to make international payments, Bloomberg has reported.
